What we collect

When you join Benny Nwokeabia’s city list, we collect the first and last name, email address, mobile number, city, state or region, and country you provide. You may also choose to provide an Instagram, TikTok, or Facebook handle. We also retain each channel’s consent status and timestamp, the signup surface, disclosure version, and limited technical information such as browser type needed to maintain a consent record.

How we use it

We use this information to send show announcements relevant to your location, operate and secure the audience list, honor opt-out requests, document permission, and measure campaign performance. If you voluntarily provide a social media handle, Benny may use it to send you a direct message when he is performing near your city. Email and text preferences are handled separately. We do not sell your contact information.

Booking inquiries

When you submit a booking inquiry, we collect the contact, event, location, budget, and other details you provide so Benny or his representatives can evaluate and respond to the request. A booking inquiry does not add you to the marketing list. We retain inquiry records as reasonably needed to manage the request, maintain business records, and prevent abuse.

Coaching requests

When you request a private coaching session, we collect your contact information, time zone, communication goals, experience level, and preferred appointment times so Benny can evaluate the request and coordinate a session. A coaching request does not add you to the marketing list.

Service providers

We use Mailchimp to manage and deliver email and SMS marketing and our website hosting provider to operate the signup and securely store consent records. These providers process information on our behalf under their applicable terms and privacy practices.

Website analytics

We use first-party analytics to understand page views, approximate visitor counts, traffic sources, device type, general city or country, and actions such as ticket, booking, social, and signup clicks. Anonymous visitor and session identifiers may be stored in your browser. We do not use this data for advertising or sell it to third parties, and tracking is disabled when your browser sends a Do Not Track signal.

When Benny prepares a city-specific show alert, the city, state or region, and country may be sent—without your name, email address, or phone number—to OpenStreetMap’s location service to estimate the distance to the nearest upcoming show. Location results are cached to reduce repeat requests.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from email using the link in any email. For texts, reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help. You may also request access, correction, or deletion by emailing bennynwokeabia@gmail.com.

Retention and security

We keep active contact records while you remain subscribed. We may retain limited suppression and consent records after an opt-out when reasonably necessary to honor your choice, demonstrate compliance, prevent abuse, or meet legal obligations. We use reasonable safeguards to protect this information.
